CorkTransport.info does not directly collect or maintain any individually identifiable data about users of this site.    It does collect anonymised data, via Google Analytics.

Photographs used on this website will not contain identifiable images of any individual.

Names and contact details of individuals will only be provided in connection with their jobs, as publicised by employing bus companies or public transport organisations.   This will be limited to senior managers.


Administrative data collection

All web servers store some information about visitors, including (at least) IP address, browser and its configuration, the date and time of the visit and and details about how the visitor reached the site (from a referring page, or using what search-keywords). This data is tracked for administration and maintenance purposes, and lets me know what articles readers are interested in. It is also used for administration and site-maintenance, and for promoting the site to potential advertisers. A key point is that it cannot personally identify visitors to this site, so is not considered as personal information.


Free advertisting participants

Limited personal information is collected about potential participants in the Free Advertising programme. This information will always be collected directly from the potential participants, or from reliable sources who have nominated them as potential participants, and it will be managed in accordance with Irish law.
